Hello Lovely Humans,

This season is all about experimenting with balance. I’m doing a trial run of weaving life between Hornby Island and Vancouver — some city, some island, a little dance between worlds.

After an unexpected whirlwind move from my longtime Vancouver home, I’m in the process of designing a new way of living + working. For now, my schedule will be a little fluid: I’m hoping to work one or two weeks in Vancouver each month, then return to Hornby to keep our island sanctuary flowing.

✨ Over the next couple of months, I’ll see how this rhythm unfolds — and I’m so grateful for your patience and support as Massage Oasis finds her new shape.

She brings over 20 years of experience, blending a wide range of traditional and modern healing techniques to create deeply personalized and transformative treatments. With a background in Ayurvedic, Thai, and Shiatsu practices, Ali-Joy’s approach is holistic, honoring both the body’s structure and the spirit’s need for renewal.

What truly sets Ali-Joy apart is her intuitive care and thoughtful integration of specialized tools and techniques. She is skilled in Craniosacral Therapy, which offers gentle and profound relief for deeply held tension and emotional patterns. She also uses Graston tools for tendon and ligament repair, instrument-assisted soft tissue mobilization, and the art of Swedish massage to promote circulation and ease muscle tension.

Every session is enriched with the finest-quality oils, including homeopathic Arnica and artisan blends sourced from India, Germany, and Hornby Island. Ali-Joy’s treatments also feature hot crystal massage stones and precision-crafted tools that are seamlessly woven into each experience—always included at no extra cost.

Ali-Joy’s passion for healing is rooted in her diverse background. She earned a diploma in clinical hypnotherapy from the Pacific Institute in 2012 and holds a BFA in theatre design, bringing a creative and grounded perspective to her work.
